| A Susu or Sisi masks, very rare. Used in ceremonial rituals to honor girls upon their maturity and to accompany the large umbrella hemlaut Tumbuan masks. This pink colol is unique among masks in Oceania. Originally it came from the pitch of the elder tree. Designs on these masks represent clan affiliations, images from the natural world and sometimes from dreams. Cassowary feather decorations. | ||
