| These traditional "alor" or ancestor masks with a "Tumbuan" image on top were danced at celebrations in honor of local Tolai priests who had just been ordained. "Alor" masks are a very old style and this resurgence of them is gratifying as it shows how old art works continue and still maintain their meaning in contemporary use.Other "Alor" masks available. | ||
